Welcome to West Middlesex Golf Club

West Middlesex Golf Club has long been recognised as one of the finest golfing venues in West London. The club was established in 1891, in 1910 the legendary five times Open Champion James Braid redesigned the golf course. Braid’s legacy is an outstanding parkland course, where the natural terrain has been used to enhance the "strategic golf experience" featuring classic Braid features with an abundance of natural woodlands with the free draining soil and superb greens all year round. The golf club is one of the closest clubs to Central London and only 15 minutes from Heathrow, Uxbridge, Chiswick, and Ealing.

West Middlesex Code
Members and visitors to West Middlesex are requested to wear recognised golfing attire while on the course. In keeping with most private members golf clubs we have a few simple requests which have been drawn up to ensure that everyone can feel comfortable during their visit.

Golf Course Code
  • Golf Shirts must be collared, unless specifically designed for golf, and tucked in at all times. T shirts, vests, rugby or football style shirts are not acceptable.
  • Only trousers or tailored shorts are allowed and must be worn with white sports socks or insole socks. Any types or colour of denim, paramilitary or camouflage style trousers, combat trousers or tracksuits are not allowed; trousers should not be tucked into socks.
  • Golfers must wear golf shoes designed specifically for golf, with soft spikes
  • All players must have their own clubs. Sharing of clubs is not permitted at any time.
  • Ladies should conform to the essence, spirit and intent of this dress code.
  • Please leave the course as you would wish to find it, replacing divots, raking bunkers and repairing pitch marks.
  • Mobile phones are permitted on the course for emergency use only and should be switched off.
Clubhouse Code
  • Dress in the clubhouse is (at a minimum) smart casual and appropriate (as would be defined by a majority of reasonably minded people).
  • All players must change from their golf shoes before entering the bar area. Clean Trainers, deck shoes and the like are permitted but no sandals or flip flops.
  • Tailored Shorts may be worn in all Clubhouse areas at any time. As on the golf course no Tracksuits (including Jogging Bottoms) or ¾ Length trousers can be worn at any time.

  • Hats are not permitted within the Clubhouse at any time.
  • Mobile phones are allowed in the Clubhouse, but we would ask Members and their guests to respect other people when using their phones.
