A quick message to you all at West Middlesex we had a splendid afternoon of golf, the course was in great order and catering was excellent.
Will back again in the near future for a game.

Many thanks for supporting our event on Friday, which was a great success. All of our managers and guests really enjoyed playing the course and were complimentary about the club facilities. Many have asked us to make it an annual event.

Please also pass on the formal thanks of the Brentham Colts Committee to Ewa and her catering team.

Dear Secretary

On behalf of everyone that attended the Xmas party last Friday at West Middlesex Golf club, can I just say a massive thank you to you and your teams services and custom. The food was amazing so thank you to the Chef and her catering team, your bar staff and the decorator for preparing the room and creating such a lovely festive feel to it. It is simply great place for a wedding at any time of year. Wedding was very well co-ordinated and the couple were very happy with the service provided. Moreover there are beautiful surroundings and fantastic staff in all departments. Highly recommended.......Albert K

Excellent course, I played about a year ago and the improvement is dramatic, staff in kitchen and bar were very helpful. Have booked a small society in a month, office was very accommodating cannot wait. Well worth playing here, best layout in West London.......Richard P

Winter Rules are back in place from 17th May 2019
The Course & Competitions Committee have decided that as some of the fairways are still struggling with spring growth, they are re-introducing ‘preferred lies or pick and place’ until further notice.

Monday 27th - Forrester Clayton Vase (singles stableford)
Thursday 30th – Midweek Stableford
Saturday 1st June – Peter Underhill’s Captain’s Day – Online starting sheet is live
Sunday 9th – Monthly Stableford
Monday 10th – Rabbits & Veterans Trophy ALL WEEK
Saturday 15th – AMAM (Teams of 4; best 2 scores to count)
Sunday 16th – Deighton Patmore Trophy 4BBB Stableford
Saturday 22nd – Presidents Day stableford
Sunday 23rd – Grandmothers Cup
Saturday 29th – Invitation Day
Sunday 30th – McKenzie Mixed Foursomes

The Halfway hut will be open both days this weekend.
Tuesday 9-hole competition is currently running every week.
Every Thursday we hold an 18-hole medal or stableford.
If you need food after your round finishes and the kitchen will be closed you can always pre-order with Ewa, she will leave in the fridge behind the bar.

Captains Day – Saturday 1st June
Our Captain is planning a great day, the starting sheet is live and filling up quickly so get your name down. Will Lambert will be doing a ‘beat the pro’ challenge at the 11th hole, there will also be a free BBQ and drinks (supplied by Captain) but there will be large charity buckets for the members to fill up with cash. Captain’s nominated charity is ‘Breast Cancer Now’. It will be a great day so please support.

The Captain would like to thank all members who supported his charity at last weekend’s prize presentation with purchase of raffle tickets, the day raised £150.

AMAM – Saturday 15th June
This is teams of four (make up your own team) medal play best two scores to count, 90% handicap allowance. No starting sheet.

Presidents Day – Saturday 22 June
This is a Stableford (full handicap allowance) play in three’s, the starting sheet goes live on Monday 27th May @ 07:30. The prizegiving will follow the day at 18:00, will prize-winners please ensure attendance.

Invitation Day – Saturday 29th June
The plan for the day is:
16.00 – BUFFET
The event will be a 4BBB Stableford (90% Handicap allowance), the sign-up sheet is in reception.

West Middlesex Pub Challenge – Friday 12th July
James Punnet is hosting the pub challenge here at West Middx (all proceeds to the club), we are looking for pubs to enter teams of four, with best two scores to count. So, get down to your ‘local’ and spread the word. For further information or leaflets speak to James or Richard.
It’s £130 per team of 4, this includes breakfast, golf, prizes and evening meal.

Tigers Pairs (formally Tigers B)
This is the 6 a side inter club matches, all members handicap range from 6.5 to 9.5 have been emailed for availability can you please respond as we have a match every weekend for the next 6 weeks. Any member eligible but not seen an email please contact the office.

The Middlesex County Card Scheme enables Members of Affiliated Clubs to play at other courses within Middlesex and most other English Counties, at reduced green fee rates. It is included free of charge to all members of Middlesex clubs as part of their affiliation fee.
The scheme has been adopted by 91% of all County Unions in England and provides benefits to Club Members, Clubs and the County Union. Unlike Commercial 2 for 1 schemes ALL the income collected by the County Union goes straight back into the game at grass roots level.
The Counties in the scheme will, from 1st April 2017, comprise Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Cumbria, Derbyshire, Devon, Dorset, Durham, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Lancashire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Middlesex, Northamptonshire, Northumberland, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Shropshire & Herefordshire, Somerset, Staffordshire, Surrey, Sussex, Warwickshire, Wiltshire, Worcestershire and Yorkshire. Currently, those County Unions have over 1300 clubs who host County Card Members. All of these courses will be available to Middlesex County Card Members. Once you become a member of West Middlesex you will be supplied with a county card enabling you to get discounts on green fees as detailed above.
