Club Announcement & Newsletter 30/08

Club Announcement

On behalf of the Committee I would like to inform all members that our Club Secretary, Richard Piggott has resigned from his position with the Club. Richard has decided to pursue the easy life and is taking early retirement.
We would like to thank him for all his efforts in pushing the club forward on all fronts, he has worked here for almost 3 years and in that time has worked with a high level of professionalism and dedication to West Middlesex Golf Club. I would like to add my own personal thanks to Richard who has been a consistent steadying presence in the three years and has seen his golf handicap rise due to the long hours he has spent in the office.
You will still see Richard around at the club as having joined here as a junior in 1973 this will always be the only place he would want to be a member.
I hope that you’ll join me in buying him a drink or two next time you see him in the bar to celebrate his retirement and hopefully an improvement in his golf going forward.
